random book idea for some reason!
the light realm is actually a physical realm but time, light, and material do not work the same way there. so when the specters
come to earth they are surprised at how slowly time flows, the way light travels, and how they can interact with the physical
world!! they become more human-like basically but it is exciting to them. they really like things that remind them of the light
realm, like fire, gemstones, glitter, and anything like that. they like things that they have not experienced before, like food.
also, a lot of specters like humans, because humans remind them of the light people who they take care of. red was nice to the
light people so he also is nice to humans and animals. cetus does not understand mortality because specter life cycles do not work
the same way, which is why she is always trying to eat everyone! i guess she is some sort of vampire or something, i'm not sure.
she is always nice to red because he is nice. but also he is a little bit insane because of being cursed to fall asleep for
decades. the main problem with my book is that my main character's codename is andromeda, so cetus needs to try to eat her in
particular, and i think maybe it is because andromeda has fire powers which is one of the things that specters like.
