when i opened my beta worlds, my alpha world was also there! it is "world1" so i made "world2" which is my beta world. anyway, beta minecraft is interesting and somewhat terrifying.
when you chop down a cactus, the cactus items are huge!! be careful not to throw anything into the cactus because it will destroy your items! i was alarmed by that. the
scenery was amazing, there was a large hill that was hollow on the side, like it made a big shaded area where monsters could spawn, and it always looked misty because of my short
render distance. i do not like the color of grass in beta. i prefer the alpha grass. same with the trees. i spent the first day collecting wood so that i can build a nice house, but
then i realized i did not have any torches! i buried myself underground and tried mining for coal, but then i realized that monsters could spawn behind me in the mine. so i went
up and built a tower. a spider tried to jump up and bite me but i killed it. spiders are one of my favorite mobs in minecraft because they are so cute.
the next day i went exploring and got some coal and found some interesting caves! later on, i went back into one of these caves. there was so much iron and coal. i got about half a
stack of iron and five stacks of coal. just when i thought i had explored every inch of the cave, i saw a steve-sized doorway with a waterfall flowing in front. i went through it
and beyond this doorway was a deep cave. it was so dark and misty and i could see so many tunnels. it was spooky so i decided not to go in there. however, after putting all the iron
and coal in a chest, i did go down into the spooky cave. it was less spooky after i lit it up with lots of torches. there were several layers of tunnels which is fascinating because
the alpha caves are extremely unimpressive. alpha worlds do not go too deep at all. that is probably why everyone is talking about strip mining because there was no way to find
diamonds via a cave in minecraft alpha. anyway, beta is much different which i did not expect. as i went, i placed cobblestone to make bridges. when i went deeper, i saw some
cobblestone in a wall and i thought "i must have put that there" but then realizing "i have not been here, so it must be a monster spawner!" it was a monster spawner, and i mined a
hole in the wall so i could reach the zombies. it turns out that these zombies have extremely long arms and can punch from further away than modern minecraft zombies. i realized i
can destroy the spawner so i did. i opened the chests and the loot was so incredible!!!! there was string!! and "sulphur"! also a bread! ok it was not that incredible. but i did get
a music disc! this is like the FIFTH CAT I HAVE GOTTEN. however, the idea of playing music on a jukebox in minecraft BETA is such a cool idea and i want to do it asap.
ok i am going to post the last videos i recorded and then i am going to play some more minecraft! i just went driving around and we went to the coffee shop. should i release 1 video
every day or should i post a video as soon as i record it? perhaps 1 per day so that the subscribers will not have too many videos. WOAH i got three more subscribers! YAY! lol
someone commented just "um ok" on my video xD. wait nooo i cannot reply to comments :(
